Wire Harness Tape
The wire harness tape provided by WT is a type of aluminum tape product series. The wire harness tape is modeled on the Aluminum Foil Fiberglass Tape product and is made of PET flannel, woven fabric, non-woven fabric and film backing and high-quality adhesive , designed to provide ultimate protection and reliability for wire harness tapping under extreme temperatures and harsh working conditions.
WT offers a variety of harness tapes with excellent adhesion, flame retardancy, high abrasion resistance and heat resistance. WT’s automatic wire harness tapes comply with international OEM specifications for production part materials and are made into various customizations.

STRENGTH AND ADHESION
Our wire harness cloth tape boasts an overall thickness of 0.2mm, providing a balance between flexibility and durability. With a tensile strength of 2150N/cm, automotive cloth tape offers superior strength to withstand the stresses of automotive applications. Its substrate adhesion of 22N/cm ensures a secure and long-lasting bond, while the adhesion to PVC of 22.5N/cm guarantees optimal performance in diverse wiring scenarios.
FLAME RETARDANT AND HEAT RESISTANT
Safety is a top priority, which is why our automotive wiring harness tape is self-extinguishing and flame retardant, complying with ISO-3795 standards. It offers an extra layer of protection against potential fire hazards, ensuring the utmost safety in automotive wiring systems. With a temperature rating of 150°C, WT‘s wire wrap tape maintains its integrity even in high-temperature environments, safeguarding the wiring against heat-related issues.

Additionally, our automotive cloth electrical tape has a shelf life of 12 months at 25°C, ensuring its usability and effectiveness over an extended period. Despite different thicknesses of the cable harness, two different widths of our insulating tapes are already sufficient for a complete cable harness winding. Compared to corrugated tubes and spiral hoses, this reduces the complexity not only for the processing, but also in storage and logistics.
